New liquor store, new adventures
Are they referring to cans? I used to work at Jack’s Discount in Lenexa, KS (95th and I-35 for the locals) and we had people always dropping cans of Mexican beer because those weren’t delivered to us in 6packs. We’d bust open the 12 packs and then hand ring 6ers. Since they were hand rung they had a tendency to be loose.
Here’s the deal though, we would ring ALL the 6 packs there, even Bud, but those didn’t seem to fall out nearly as much as the Tecate or Modelo.
I miss working at a liquor store. Good coworkers, good customers, good discount. It’s probably the most fun thing I’ve ever decided to do.
