my sherlock holmes sleuth skills kicked in today and helped me discover a craigslist scam trying to collect money prior to viewing an apartment. yeah right scammer.
There was a piece on local Seattle news last night about scammers finding ads of houses for sale on craigslist and reposting them as cheap rentals. The scam was that the person was out of state and needed $40 to send you the keys if you wanted to check it out.
