Coming down off the largest music festival in the Northwest, Seattle is preparing for some great acts in the next week. Get out there and rebound, guys!

FRIDAY 9/11: Kinski (LOCAL experimental rock) are celebrating their 10th anniversary (!!!) at Chop Suey. The Sub Pop recording artists will be joined by Lesbian (LOCAL metal) and Purple Rhinestone Eagle (pdx psychedelic rock.) 8 bucks, 21+.

SATURDAY 9/12: Past LIves (LOCAL indie rock) are going to be lighting up the Vera Project, along with HEALTH (LA experimental rock) and pictureplane (Denver dub.) $11, all ages (of course!)

TUESDAY 9/15: CocoRosie (French pop duo) are visiting Seattle and playing a show at the King Cat. This could be your last chance for a while to see these girls! $15, all ages, 21+ bar.

TUESDAY 9/15: Hey Marseilles (LOCAL chamber pop?) are enough of a reason to head to Fremont on Tuesday. But add in the stylings of Sallie Ford (PDX folk) and young brother/sister duo, Evan and Virginia Easthope (LOCAL acoustic), plus slam poetry and live painting, it’d be a real shame to miss. $6-10, all ages.
