tumblar.

1 note &

Today I have had the most miserable migraine ever, and considering they’ve been monthly (and weekly in adolescence) since I was 6 I really mean it hurts.

I woke up and my right ring finger was numb, my neck hurt and there was pressure behind my left eye. While showering it switched to my right index finger being asleep and the pressure got worse behind my eye.

After the shower my fingers finally woke up, and then I started throwing up.

Normally this is where I take my Imitrex nasal spray, fall asleep and wake up a few hours later. Except it’s not 10 hours later and I’ve taken enough medicine to be able to walk around but it feels like a baseball has been shoved behind my eye and is sore all the way up my face. I’m mostly okay if I just sit still in the dark in front of a fan, but with a puppy barking at me and a bad cough that feels like it squeezes around the brain baseball every few minutes I’m still miserable.

I’m willing to try anything at this point.
