“If you can figure out your suitcase, you can figure out your life.”

The Diane von Furstenberg American Express commercial makes me want to jump off the couch and turn into a wandering wonder woman everytime I see it

I want to give her a hug.

“I didn’t really know what I wanted to do, but I knew the woman I wanted to become.”

It sums up all my recent quiet introspection nicely.

I wish more of the teachers I email on Teach Street got back with me. The only one out of 6 that ever responded waited 3 weeks.

Everytime I go there I find something new I want to learn. My current list of wanted classes:

  1. Horseback riding
  2. MIG welding
  3. Calligraphy
  4. Stone jewelry making
  5. Glassblowing
  6. Sewing
  7. Swimming (eh. I know I need to!)
  8. Archery
  9. Fencing

And god, urban beekeeping sounds awesome. I’ll probably never do any of these, because MIG welding alone is over $200 for 2 nights, but I love knowing that when I’m ready there are people all over Seattle willing to share their expertise with me.

Morgan’s Bakery, Tahlequah (via Lynne’s Lens)
There is nothing like the hometown bakery. They have these giant cookies made with a really soft sweet colorful dough that I love. The giant purple smiley face cookie is the absolute gift from all my family and friends back home. It’s almost worth moving back for one.
